Responsibilities:
Mechanical Assembly of a variety of simple to complex metal cabinetry to supply essential businesses.
(not an assembly line environment) OTJ training provided, specific to the product being assembled.
Will work in tandem with an experienced and seasoned Assembler already on staff.
Must be focused, driven to produce precise show room quality finished products.
Versatile, fast paced department requiring dependable and accountable team members who exhibit results that are consistently a cut above in accuracy & detail orientation.
REQUIRED:
2-3 yrs.
knowledge
experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and accurately interpret prints +/or schematics.
Mechanically inclined:
demonstrated experience in ability to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including riveting.
Ability to lift between to 10-75 lbs.
with regularity.
Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 hour shift.
High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.
Organizational skills.
Pallet jack experience.
Ability to take direction; work independently as well as a part of a team.
Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward.
