Manager - Technical Accounting and Financial at Granicus in Baltimore, OH
Essential Functions:
Serve as a SME to technical accounting matters, including research and documentation of complex and non-standard transactions, such as M&A and debt financing transactions Keep abreast of recently issued accounting pronouncements and applicability to the Company Prepare accounting whitepapers on key transactions and accounting issues Provide quarterly debt covenant calculation and financial statements for lender reporting Evaluate existing financial reporting process and identify room for improvement Collaborate with GL manager to improve the financial reporting timeline Manage preparation of the year-end audited financial statements Provide technical accounting expertise to revenue accounting team on complex matters Manage the recognition of stock-based compensation Support Corporate Controller in maintaining corporate accounting policies to ensure US GAAP compliance Provide post accounting integration support to the acquired company team members Support year-end audit requests and auditor questions Assist the team with large one-off projects Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
You have 5 - 8 years of accounting experience, with 2-3 years in technical accounting and/or financial reporting You have a BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent CPA required 3
years of Big 4 experience preferred Experience with M&A, debt financing, and SaaS industry preferred You have comprehensive and current understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements You have strong Excel skills You have outstanding oral and written communication skills You are detail-oriented, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills You are adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment You demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
